The most recent NATIONAL patient survey (July 19) has been published.
It is a shame, but not unexpected that our patient satisfaction results have fallen - the impact of our funding cuts has started to significantly affect patient access.
Sadly until deprivation is again properly funded we will struggle to provide the level of access that will help reduce health inequalities
The survey shows we are still above average in lots of areas
• 89% satisfaction with phone access – CCG average is 68%
• 94% of patients found our receptionists very helpful or helpful – CCG average 92%
• 50% of patients always or nearly always speak or see the GP they prefer – CCG average 47%
