Temporary Registrations

If you are away from home or you are not currently registered with a Doctor and need to see someone
you can receive emergency treatment from the practice for 14 days.

If you still need to be seen after the 14 days are up you will need to register as a temporary > or permanent patient >

As a temporary patient you will still remain register with your usual GP, if you have one, but will be able to be seen here whilst you are in the area. You can register as a temporary patient if you are in the area for longer than 24 hours but less than three months.

Please note that Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient, although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment.
