Congratulations to EMMY, our practice nurse. who has been with us for* ONE YEAR* today. She's done a fantastic job during COVID checking in with our patients who have been shielding

Its really disappointing to see more rubbish has been dumped on site - it is not acceptable to treat a community park in this way.
Contact the practice is you know who did this!

  • Congratulations to Dr Yin who has been with the practice THREE YEARS today.

Dr Yin is currently on maternity leave - we are looking forward to her return to work after Christmas!!

  • We have now invited all patients aged over 65, or under 65 with a long term condition, to our next flu clinic. If you are in either of these groups and have not received an invitation we will contact you in a couple of weeks.
  • We are also holding flu clinics for 2&3 year old's - we will invite eligible children for the immunisation - you do not need to contact us
  • Patients who are aged between 50 and 64 with NO underlying conditions are eligible for flu jabs, but we don't know who or how they will be delivered!!! At the moment we are not able to offer appointment to these patients

We had another fantastic flu clinic on Saturday - another 261 patients jabbed!
We are now sending texts to the next group of patients to invite them to book in for their flu jab.
Please do not phone us about an appointment unless you have had a text invite

This is the link to the government advice about patients who are shielding - at the moment Bristol is in the lowest tier so nothing has changed for the moment

A very big welcome to Rita who has joined us this week as our new lead Treatment Room nurse - she is getting to know how we do things and will start seeing patients in a couple of weeks

We have a number of staff self isolating at at the moment - they have all been incredibly flexible about working from home or swapping shifts so thank you to all of them.
It does mean that our triage and phone response times are longer than normal but we are sure our fabulous patients will understand!
